Empathy & Compassion

May 3, 2016

The transgender bathroom situation has created a lot of harsh discussion that hurts people.  I hope that empathy and compassion for others can bring more dignity to the conversation.  Regardless of where people stand, we have an opportunity to be fearful and hateful, or we can be compassionate and loving.  Whether it's the transgender community or exploited factory workers, there are real people with real stories.

"The whole law is summed up in a single commandment, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:14)

How can we grow in our love and compassion for others?

How would it feel to be someone on the other side of the argument?

Are you willing to keep learning about the transgender issues?  If so, click here.

PRAYER

God, we want to grow in love and empathy.  Fill us with your Divine Love.
